Room Four

Welcome to Room Four

This room asks a quieter question than the ones before it.

5 min read

If Room One asked you to find your voice. If Room Two asked where you want to go. If Room Three asked what you need to stand on your own two feet.

Room Four asks: can you come home to the body that carried you through all of it?

This isn't a room about fitness programmes or meal plans. It isn't about losing weight or looking different or optimising anything. You've had enough of people telling you what your body should be.

This room is about something much simpler — and much harder. It's about feeling at home in your own skin again.

What happened to your body

During everything you went through — the sleepless nights, the clenched jaw, the shallow breathing, the exhaustion that sleep couldn't fix — your body was there. Holding it all. Absorbing what your mind couldn't process.

Maybe you stopped looking in the mirror. Maybe you stopped moving because it felt pointless. Maybe you ate to numb or forgot to eat at all. Maybe your shoulders crept up around your ears and stayed there.

None of that was weakness. Your body was protecting you the only way it knew how. The tension, the exhaustion, the disconnection — those were survival strategies, not failures.

Your body didn't fail you. It carried you.
Now it's time to carry it back.

What this room is not

Let me be clear about what you won't find here. This matters, because you've probably been sold these things before — wrapped in wellness language that sounds supportive but lands like another to-do list.

🚫
Not a fitness programme
No workout schedules, no before-and-after transformations, no reps. Movement is an invitation here, never a prescription.
🚫
Not diet culture in disguise
No meal plans, no calorie counting, no "clean eating" guilt. Your body knows what it needs — we're learning to listen again.
🚫
Not body positivity platitudes
No one is going to tell you to "love your body!" when you're still learning to live in it. Honest is better than cheerful.
🚫
Not medical advice
If you're dealing with a medical condition, pain, or a mental health crisis, please work with a professional. This room is a companion, not a replacement.

What this room is

This room is permission. To feel. To rest. To move because it feels good, not because someone told you to. To look in the mirror and see what's actually there — not the version someone else told you about.

🫀
Come back to your body
Learn to notice what's happening inside you again. The tension, the calm, the signals your body sends when something is right or wrong. This is called interoception — and many women lose it during crisis.
🌊
Understand your nervous system
Your body isn't broken — it's protecting you. You'll learn the Nervous System Ladder, a simple framework for understanding why you feel the way you feel, and what you can do about it.
💪
Feel your own strength
Not gym strength — life strength. Movement as medicine. The physical experience of taking up space, standing taller, breathing deeper. Confidence that starts in your body.
🌙
Rest without guilt
Rest is not earned through exhaustion. For women who've spent years performing, producing, caring for everyone else — the hardest thing might be stopping. This room gives you permission.
Claim your body in your own words
By the end of this room, you'll write your own declaration — what you believe about your body, what you want for it, and how you'll care for it. Not borrowed mantras. Your words.

How this room works

This room is lighter on exercises than the ones before it. You've done the deep excavation. What your body needs now is less homework and more permission.

The pages are warm and brief. They name what's true, offer a practice or two, and then let you breathe. If you want to go deeper — if something lands and you want to sit with it — Alma is here. She can guide you through a body scan, help you find where you're holding tension, walk you through breathing practices, or simply hold space while you figure out what you're feeling.

The path is suggested, never locked
Start with Before You Begin — it introduces the framework for this room. After that, follow what calls to you. If your body is asking for rest, go to The Rest. If you need to move, go to The Strength. If the mirror feels terrifying, skip it for now. The room is patient. It will be here when you're ready.

You've done extraordinary work to get here. You found your voice. You felt into your purpose. You built your financial ground.

Now come home to the body standing on it.

She's been waiting for you.

With tenderness for the body that brought you here,
